Chinese Students Use Porn for Sex Education

It’s a well known fact that everyone in the United States watches porn from the mightiest corporate CEO to the homeless guy on the street that tried to wash my window, which was really weird since I wasn’t in a car. But apparently adult movies are an educational tool in China.

 Ok, so maybe not everyone in the U.S. watches porn, I forget about the Amish, but 50 percent of Chinese college students reported that Internet porn is their primary source of information about sex. I know online and DVD movies have been incredibly helpful to me in the past for valuable information about sexuality. I leaned that women will spontaneously undress if your name is Biff Hardly or you answer the door in a mailman costume.

 I also learned that all women scream out when they orgasm and they are all really receptive to anal sex. Ok, so maybe porn isn’t the best thing to use for learning about sex, but I guess when you’re in China you take what you get. In college what happened to experimentation? According to the porn movies, all college women want to be in a threesome. Right? 

 Apparently, college students aren’t the only ones learning about sex from porn. Another study showed that ¾ of teenage students responded that the Internet was their main way of learning about sex.

 So what ways can porn actually be a good source of information about sex? How about anatomy. I’ll admit that had it not been for adult movies, I would have been totally clueless about the clitoris. It teaches sexual positions and, of course, how to pick a great porn name.

 I guess we will have to see how generations of Chinese students raised on a steady appetite of porn education will fare in the real world. Will we see a sudden increase in chest hair implants and babies born with names like Tawnee Starshine and Chance Peterlong? All I know is if it works out, then I movin’ to China.
