Man Catches Fire While Watching Porn at a Sex Shop

Whatever this guy was watching, it must’ve been a hot and steamy scene! (I’m sorry) San Francisco firefighters and police are currently searching for evidence as to why this porn enthusiast burst into flames while watching porn in a private booth at a San Francisco sex shop. Lt. Kevin McNaughton of the San Francisco police force told CBS San Francisco that the man had run out of the shop "engulfed in flames". Police and fire-fighters near the scene arrived quickly and helped put the man out. While we all have to admit that this story is pretty funny… The man, who has yet to be identified, is currently in the hospital being treated for life-threatening burns that cover over 90% of his body. According to KTVU television, an employee told police the man was watching a movie in the back of the store when he ran out screaming and on fire.

The Examiner reports;

“Witness Steve Rintoul, who manages the adult shop, said Thursday that the customer, who is reportedly not a regular patron of the shop, had been watching a movie at the back of the store when he ran out of the viewing booth screaming and on fire.

The store experienced "zero damage" from the fire, said Rintoul, who suspected the man may have lit himself on fire while doing drugs.

"I would describe it as a Richard Pryor sort of incident," he said.

Pryor set himself ablaze while freebasing cocaine in 1980.

"Our equipment is fine," Rintoul said. "This was solely a personal injuries type thing."

Rintoul described the ablaze customer as a young "working class, blue-collar type of guy."

Witnesses who saw the victim ablaze reportedly "sat there and did nothing."
