It's no secret that outspoken anti-porn activist Shelley Lubben has made more than a few enemies in the porn world by accusing  the industry of being a kind of slavery for women as well as blaming her brief stint as a porn actress for her major health issues.

A new documentary by Michael Whiteacre and former adult star Lydia Lee (known as Julie Meadows in adult films) speculates that many of Lubben’s claims are untrue and attempts to shed light on her true motivations for her anti-porn movement by using  Lubben’s own words from talks and books she has written to show many of her accusations she has made throughout the years hypocritical. The documentary includes interviews with several porn stars including Nina Hartley, Kayden Cross and Melissa Monet.

Lubben has publicly spoken against the porn industry, the troubles caused by her porn experience and the plight of today’s actresses led to her creating The Pink Cross Foundation to help people break away from porn. While appearing in 16 porns from 1993-1994, Lubben believes that her appearances in porn, not her years as a sex worker, is where she contracted herpes and HPV, which caused her to have excessive bleeding, anemia and cervical cancer.
